Are you applying for admission to practice in the Western District of Texas? If so, TCWLA offers the required seminar “A Day in Federal Court.” TCWLA puts on this seminar in-person once every 2 years.
1. Join Us for the 2025 In-Person “A Day in Federal Court” CLE
TCWLA is hosting our biannual full-day seminar “A Day in Federal Court” on May 9, 2025 from 9:00 am-4:30 pm, with breakfast and check-in beginning at 8:00 am. The program provides 6.5 hours (including 1 hour of ethics) of CLE credit. Hear from judges, local practitioners, and courtroom staff on a variety of federal court topics including:
Bankruptcy, the Role of the Magistrate Judge’s Office, From Arrest to Judgment: The Criminal Case Timeline and Contacts, Clerk’s Office Resources, Local Rules and Pleadings, and more!
The cost for government and non-profit attorneys is $145 and the cost for private sector attorneys is $200. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. We hope you’ll join us!
