Foundation Grants
Each year, TCWLF awards several grants to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that provide pro bono legal services and/or other support services to women, families, and/or children in Central Texas who are involved in the legal system. Grants are generally intended to fund a specific project of the recipient’s program, rather than merely contributing to a general operating budget. Traditional Grants are usually awarded in the range of $10,000 to $15,000. A limited number of Impact Grants may be awarded in amounts of $25,000 to $50,000.
The grants are awarded at the Foundation’s annual spring luncheon, a celebration co-hosted with TCWLA. A representative of a successful grantee should be available to attend the awards luncheon on May 2, 2025.
The grant application deadline is February 6, 2025.
Grant Applications
TCWLF will award approximately $100,000 in grants in 2025. Applicants may apply for both Traditional and Impact Grants, but please submit a separate application for each type.
Traditional Grants are awarded in amounts ranging from $10,000 to $15,000 and support the provision of pro bono legal services and/or other legal support services to women, families, and/or children in Central Texas who are involved in the legal system.
Impact Grants are awarded in amounts ranging from $25,000 to $50,000 and provide an organization with a more substantial financial contribution that would allow it to expand its services, stage an event, pay for specialized training, or fund a similar activity that the organization would otherwise be unable to accomplish and that would have a long-lasting impact on the delivery of pro bono legal services and/or other support services to women, families, and/or children in Central Texas who are involved in the legal system.
