This 1-hour session will provide an update on privacy laws recently passed in states like California and Virginia protecting individual data privacy, and why Texas companies who do business in those states will need to evaluate their own privacy programs.  Recent ransomware attacks have been in the headlines, and Privacy Assessments for companies and individuals are of paramount importance. Jennifer Kuhn, IP & Privacy Partner, CIPP/US, CIPM will share her expertise and knowledge on what every attorney needs to know to assist their clients with privacy law compliance and assessments.
