DESCRIPTION:TCWLA is sponsoring the VLS on November 13th  at the APL\, St. John Branch near 183 and IH 35 along with a handful of family law attorneys from Goranson Bain Ausley.   Please sign up if you can attend! \nArrive at 5:45pm to check in and get set up\, and then the consultation portion of the clinic starts at 6pm. During the clinic\, attorneys meet with applicants and give 30 min advice sessions on family law issues\, probate related questions\, and other general civil law matters. The clinic then ends at 8pm sharp as the library closes at that time. \nRegistration links are register below. If someone practices employment\, debt probate or family\, they can sign up under those specific links. Everyone else can sign up under the general link. \nIf you do not already have a volunteer profile with VLS\, it will prompt you to create one. DESCRIPTION:Your CS Committee is off and running. We are participating in a professional clothing drive.  We just need you all to go through your closets to find professional clothing in good condition that you would love to gift to help the UT MWPL members. Please ask any friends or colleagues to do the same. The purpose of this drive is to provide MWPL members with access to professional clothing\, so that they may walk into spaces while pursuing a career in law with confidence. This sounds like a mission we can all get behind. \nThe drive will be held on November 6th\, 2024. Our job is to collect donations and have them to our collection sites in time for the committee to get them to MWPL. Please aim to have them to collections sites by November 1st. These donations may consist of professional attire\, including but not limited to: blazers\, pants\, skirts\, shoes\, blouses\, suits\, and dresses. Please be sure that any donations gifted are in good condition. \nMWPL is not a nonprofit organization\, they do not offer tax exemption forms for any donations.
