SUMMARY:March Membership and Mentoring CLE Lunch
DESCRIPTION:Please join TCWLA on Wednesday\, March 20 from 11:45 a.m.-1:00 p.m. for a combined membership CLE with the Mentoring Program\, “Handling Your First Residential Construction Case.”  The presentation will be made by Rekha Roarty and Nicholl Wade\, partners are Roarty Law Firm\, PLLC\, and will be a primer on Chapter 27 of the Texas Property Code\, also known as Residential Construction Liability Act (“RCLA”). This presentation aims to introduce the basic steps required under the RCLA to send proper notice to the builder and effectively preserve the maximum amount of damages when a homeowner’s property is defectively built or remodeled\, including addressing the most common mistakes made and how to avoid them. \nImportantly\, we’ll also be presenting our annual law student scholarships\, so please come out to learn\, fellowship\, and support the next generation of women lawyers! \n\nHybrid.  In-person component is at McGinnis Lochridge.\n\nRegister here: \n\n\nLoading…
